    “I have no credentials to give that advice.” That is SO SO SO ignorant.
    Just think about it. The guy that will give you credentials for something.
    Who gave credentials to him so he could give credentials???

    And the guy that is saying self help books are crap had to write a book and put himself in opposition with something. That’s the same stuff that Donald Trump have done with many people. Started a beef with them so he could get free publicity.

    MVH, what a scumbag.

    Mark Hanson is a pompous blowhard. I have seen him hosting late-night scam infomercials. His arrogance is woefully evident here.

    Ho, man I could never give up my Earl Nightingale, Jim Rohn, Mark Victor Hansen daily diet. I mean this poor misguided soul is basically promoting an exclusive daily perennial diet of Junk Food! And I will have none of it! Mr. Salerno, please peddle your backwards negativity elsewhere. You are doing a disservice to America that already subsists on mental junk food too much as it is.

    @kaisersoce07 I just saw him today in person and that is exactly what he is like, and he was giving a solo talk today, not defending himself. All he talked about was getting rich and how everyone should write a book and he name dropped so much. And there are people who sing his praises left and right. I had high hopes walking in to the talk and I would say that I wasted my money except that it didn’t go to Mark, it went to a good charity.

    Carnegie made his fortune largely through inside business deals. He made informed investments in the rail industry through his friends in the business. Once he owned a steel company, he signed contracts to produce the steel for his friends’ rail roads and even named a plant or two after them. His ruthless treatment and low paying wages towards his workers furthered his businesses’ fortunes.

  • crazysoccerman14 says:

    At the end of his life Carnegie gave away his fortune due to a deep sense of guilt towards his treatment of his workers. Look it up. The fact is that these multimillionaire self help honchos are in it for the money. The author of Sham is doing a good thing by making people question what they are told, rather than buying from a slick talking face that promises the world.

    @kaisersoce07

    YES

    Everybody say it with me! MUST BE THE MONEY!!

  • kaisersoce07 says:

    Mark Hanson comes across as a condescending, self absorbed, ego-maniacal ass hole in this. Rather than pose an intelligent argument against the other guy, he simply laughs out of spite and then goes on to personally character assassinate him. (quote from mark hanson: “ha ha ha [you're] incompetent!”) This doesn’t defend his business at all – it just makes him look like an ass. Mark Hanson makes money by selling books to people looking for answers. Con-man.
